As the founder of the original Delaware Royalty AAU program, he played a major role in helping develop and elevate the careers of many Delaware players who went on to make their mark at the scholastic, collegiate and beyond levels.
Today, he continues to give back to the game, volunteering his time to help develop the next generation of talent through his Elite Players open runs and workouts.
For the past nine years, Coach Rob has also played an important role in the success of Salesianum basketball as an assistant coach alongside one of the state’s highly regarded coaching staffs.
But what makes Coach Rob such a valuable addition to 1ststatesports isn’t just his coaching résumé.
It’s the relationships. It’s the knowledge. It’s the trust.
There aren’t many people who know the who’s who of Delaware scholastic basketball better than Coach Rob. He’s been around the gyms, the players, the coaches and the families for decades.
I’ve known Rob and built a relationship with him over the years, and I’ve always respected his knowledge of the game and, more importantly, his commitment to Delaware basketball.
